Very first spill on my very first ride was on a Vespa 150 on a friends lawn. Opened the throttle, froze in that position and was stopped by the hedge. Broke my shoulder, wrist and thumb when I put my Suzuki GT185 down by grounding the non-folding footpeg in a hole on a roundabout. The result is ( twenty years later ) that a seating position like the Savage is the easiest on the arthritis.. Now I need a small windscreen to stop feeling like a windsock.
